After storm damage we had several roofing contractors inspect our roof and contact our insurance company. Blake Chavis from First Georgian Roofing in Lawrenceville was the only one to insist he be present when our insurer sent a second inspector out. He convinced the USAA inspector of the damage. When the work was performed Blake followed thru every step to insure everything was completed to the First Roofing standard.
I was approached by Blake Chavis, as I was watching his team replace my neighbor's roof. He introduced himself, asked to speak with me, maintained appropriate covid-19 distance and began talking about his company, First Georgian Roofing. Afterward, I contacted my insurance company to inspect my roof. They approved a repair, but since the roof was 14 years old, I decided to replace it entirely. I contacted Blake and he provided an estimate. I am a cautious person, so I obtained other estimates. Of all the estimates, Blake's was the lowest, using exactly the same materials, but that is not why I chose him. Throughout our experience, Blake was polite, professional, respectful, and responsive to all questions without any evasiveness. He was patient while we arranged everything and while I was checking his credentials (he didn't know that); there was never any pressure to get the job done. This young man is the epitome of what all businessmen should be. I highly recommend FIRST GEORGIAN for all your roofing needs.
Our roof was 15 years old and from time to time salesman from other roofing companies was knocking on door to ask us for the replacement, but I did not trust any of them until I see my neighbor did it by this company and I approached them to ask questions and to check my roof condition. Without hesitating, the manager/owner - Blake - get someone to check it and walk me thru the process. It was fast and so easy that I have my new roof within couple of weeks. It just take a day to get it done. I even recommend the company service to other neighbors and we all get it done thru the company. Thank you Blank and I hope I will have a peace of mind on the new roof 20-30 years to come.
We were offered a free roof inspection. Prior to the inspection, we were made aware of a recall and lawsuit of the shingles that were currently on our roof. Brad (our roof inspector) helped facilitate with our homeowners insurance company the process for replacing our roof. The service and finished product was top notch!
I don't ever actually leave reviews. However, First Georgian Roofing is wonderful to work with. Not only were they reasonably priced, but management was actually on-site nearly the entire time to make sure things went properly - and they did. They job was done in one day and the cleanup was performed better than I would have expected and better than ANY contracting service we've ever had to our place. Should we need more roof work in the future, they will be our first call.

We experienced some light roof damage in the spring. We had a few shingle missing and wind damage. Another roofing company came out and inspected our roof claiming heavy wind damage , torn shingles and broken tabs. Which we have found out latee they artificially created. First Georgian Roofing came and inspected the roof and immediately came off the roof stating that a 7 year old roof would never have the damage they seen. They felt the roof was vandalized and had artificially created wind damage, ripped the shingles and the damage was artificially created. Free of charge they came out and sealed down the artificial wind damaged shingles and stated they would provide an estimate to fix the roof. They were honest, trust worthy and provided a reasonable estimate. Very confused and not certain who to believe, we are new to the area so everyone is new to us, we called a roofing company who did our home inspection 1 year prior when we moved here. They confirmed exactly what First Georgian Roofing told us had happened and agreed 100% it was artificially created damage. They too provided an estimate. We choose First Georgian Roofing for a few reasons. They were Honest with us, they provided a Fair Competitive Estimate, they took steps to Help initially with sealing the roof at No Cost and no guarantee we would take their bid. When did accept their bid for the repairs. They stuck with the bid price, they came in did excellent work, they did the repairs within a few days of calling, they explained what was done and what we can expect moving forward. A Really Great Honest Company. Something that is hard to find these days especially in the construction/roofing industry. We Highly Recommend First Georgian Roofing for all your roofing needs!!!!
We have known Justin for years and everything about our experience was great. Blake was also very helpful in explaining our options and didn’t pressure us in any way. Everyone arrived on schedule, they picked up as they went and cleaned up at the end of the day. Justin and Blake were here to oversee the work and went above and beyond to let us know about rotten wood that needed to be addressed. Brad came out and inspected my roof after I had been dealing with multiple leaks . I had filed a claim and got denied by insurance and was very impressed Brad was able to put together a case for insurance to reverse their decision and fully replace the entire roof. I couldn’t be happier with my new roof and experience with this company
Brad Burchett hands down is by far the best roof inspector I have ever delt with. On time professional and very informative. After inspection he walked me through on how to put a claim in with my insurance company. Made each step extremely easy. Also the kicker for me was when my daughter slipped in the house from her slippery socks and was crying Brad ran to his truck to bring her back up a lolli pop and she was just happy as could be. I highly recommend Brad he was awesome.
Best experience I’ve had yet working with a roofer! Fast, responsive and meticulous in their work. They worked around my old gutter guards, left the site looking better than before they started and the new roof looks fantastic. They even came out to work with my insurance adjuster to make sure I got the full coverage I needed.
I had some wind damage recently and had an initial evaluation by another company who told me I needed to replace my entire roof. I decided to get a second opinion and Duane was awesome. Very professional and honest. He told me I didn’t need a new roof and was kind enough to replace the shingles at no CHARGE because the damage was so minimal. I will definitely call them again as he was honest unlike the first person who was trying to convince me to call my insurance to put in a claim for a new roof.

I called Steven Mosher with First Georgian Roofing Inc. after we had some storm damage that blew off some shingles. He came out the same day to assess our roof. He worked with our insurance company to file the claim and we were able to get a new roof. Steven was wonderful to work with through the entire process. The roof installation took one day, and it looks great. I would highly recommend this company and Steven any day!! I had a great experience in my dealings with First Georgian Roofing Inc. and Brad their top sales rep. Our neighborhood had a major hail storm this spring and Brad was successful in securing the roof work on two of the homes across the street. I watched their work from start to finish and I was impressed. So I elected to seek an estimate. That same day, Brad & his mgr, were on the roof, taking pictures of the damage and developing an estimate. Shortly thereafter we were talking with my insurance company and within a few days I obtained insurance approval. All the coordination was handled by Brad. What remained was selecting the type of shingle, color, any options and the schedule. What I thought was going to be a complex process turned out to be a walk in the park. First Georgian Roofing was very responsive to any questions or concerns. Their team was customer oriented, well organized and hard working, materials were top quality, exceptional labor and material warranties and at a reasonable price acceptable to the insurance company. I’m extremely HAPPY with my new roof. Renee Morrison came HIGHLY recommended by all of my neighbors, who have gotten their roofs replaced after a storm. I’m obviously a procrastinator when it comes to spending money, but they said go call her and call her now they all wanted their names to be used as a referral. I did call, she came by the next day and I had roof damage, she explained the process, called my insurance company, she set up inspection with my insurance co., she met with the adjuster when he was here inspecting the roof and 3 to 4 weeks later the roof was done. The entire process was extremely seamless and I wasn’t inconvenienced at all, constant communication the entire time. They even did a great job cleaning up around my bushes. Whats’s so ironic, is I told some people I work with that I had just got a new roof on my house, we all started talking and to only find out Renee Morrison with George Roofing had done their roofs too… the best experience I ever had. I have nothing but praise for Tyler (Sales) & Jesus (Onsite Project Manager). They managed the insurance process that left little stress on my part. Jesus explained each step as the install progressed. My walks and driveway were cleaner when they left than before the project started. The bottom line: The finished roof looks better than all of the houses in my neighborhood. I would recommend Tyler & Jesus, FGA Roofing, and CertainTeed any day of the week.

I cannot say enough positive things about FGA Roofing. Honestly, this was probably the best experience we have had with any contractor to date. After meeting with six (yes 6?!) other roofing companies FGA undercut all other prices while still offering the highest quality materials and best warranties. Admittedly, we are not the easiest homeowners to work with because we have high expectations for craftsmanship (perfectionistic really) but Blake and his team did not disappoint. Despite working in 90+ degree heat, no detail (or nail on the ground) was missed, no shortcuts were taken, any and all concerns were addressed. We have the best roof and gutters on the block! If I could give 100 stars I truly would. Highly recommend this company.
